Scotia Horticulture Congress
The Scotia Horticulture Congress is an annual event that brings together experts and professionals in the horticulture industry to share their knowledge and experience. Ag Drone School is an institution that specializes in providing comprehensive education and training on the use of remotely piloted aerial systems (RPAS) for farmers and agronomists. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including the introduction to remote sensing of vegetation, understanding vegetative indexes such as NDVI, data accuracy and sensor types, and the future of crop imaging using hyperspec, thermal, and machine learning technology. It also covers the software workflows for using drones on farms, and the various use cases for using drones in agriculture. Additionally, the school provides training on the knowledge requirements for small basic operations, including air law, air traffic rules and procedures, RPAS airframes, power plants, propulsion and systems, human factors, meteorology, navigation, flight operations, theory of flight, and radiotelephony.
